Jean designs original necklaces of art glass, semi-precious stones, sterling silver, vermeil, seed pearls, and vintage glass beads: the color, sheen, and shape of these luminous materials harmonize to create energy and balance in her wearable art.

Combining the old with the new is something Mary does when creating her art quilts. She does that here with her jewelry by inserting antique textile ephemera into her jewelry such as buckles, hand painted and crocheted buttons, fiber covered hooks, etc., that she found by trolling the Adamstown Antique Malls.
